I love Movies, I watch way too many and spend too much time at the cinema
Love Steelbooks too
I love the movies so fucking much.
Babylon is THE movie about movies. I can see why some people don’t love this movie as it’s rather graphic but nonetheless I think it tells a beautiful and incredible story that reminds you of why you love movies and the cinema.
Margot Robbie once’s again delivers a pitch perfect performance and literally stole the show in this film. She was the perfect choice for this character and really proved she is and…
Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery 2022
Glass Onion, although maybe not as layered or intricate as the first Knives Out movie is an absolutely incredible movie, it’s so clever and intense and manages to maintain the charm and wicked humour of the first movie whilst doing something completely different that is unpredictable and wildly entertaining.
The stars of the film, especially Monaé, Craig and Hudson who manage to make this movie so gripping and tense whilst also so delightfully humorous, again while having an exceptional script…
Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey 2023
I feel like if this movie went all out on its premise it could have been a lot more fun and entertaining, but nonetheless this was amusing for what it was, but was just devoid of a real sense of plot or what makes characters interesting, espy when you make us spend so much more time with them than what people signed up for.
But anyway this was camp and some good background noise while I did some shopping on my phone, as it’s just something simple but fun. I will be seated for the sequel!
John Wick: Chapter 3 - Parabellum 2019
John Wick Chapter 3 was a great- high octane action movie with a spectacular em cast and a great story, yet I can’t help but feel it’s rather similar to the last one… which really takes a lot away from it and makes it seem rather basic, but nonetheless this was a very enjoyable and fun movie.
Scream VI 2023
Ok, I definitely have my problems with Scream VI- but that said they are VERY few and I am absolutely blown away by 99% of this movie, I gasped, I jumped, I cried and I was terrified! This is almost certainly my favourite movie of the franchise, but my main issue is the reveal as it wasn’t as creative as I thought it could be, but nonetheless this film is a great time and I honestly could have yelled at the screen- I was so into this movie… ok I may have done it one or twice.
Falling for Christmas 2022
As soon as she walked through those elevator doors I knew this was a masterpiece.
