Jacob’s review published on Letterboxd:
Really wish this hadn’t stretched its premise thin so early, because the first act is completely unnerving and enthralling. It never lost me, a testament to the strength of the filmmaking, Lupita Nyong’o’s dual performance, and Mike Gioulakis’ super sexy cinematography, but I was underwhelmed by the lack of development with the story. With the exception of the absolutely stunning dance sequence, nothing near the end of this was as compelling as what had proceeded. Everything felt a bit too recycled. Still, I had a great time with it, and the humor throughout was a strong point.
Winston Duke... hi.
