It isn't even the murder/attack scenes that unsettle me. It's the thought of what Pennywise did to Georgie after he got pulled off camera. That's what gets under my skin. Which isn't really a compliment or criticism of the film but I guess it proves that the film created an effective antagonist so let's call it a compliment
I had written a long spiel about my lack of history of Spider-Man and I realised halfway through writing that none of that mattered and all I really wanted to say was I LOVED THIS. The action was frenetic, not including the [redacted] dream sequences? If you've seen it you know what I'm talking about.
