I can easily say this is my favourite horror classic ever, itโs perfect in my eyes ๐ฝ๐ฅ๐ฅถ
The special effects should forever be applauded, theyโre so incredible and still unsettle me to this day. All the scares still get to me even after multiple rewatches, like the defibrillator stomach/mouth scene and the blood testing scene still make me jump even though I know theyโre coming! ๐ Also all the doggie scenes are so hard for me to watch, I feelโฆ
This is one of my favourite movies of all time, and despite the premise, everything about it screams โcomfortโ for me โ plus itโs set during winter, so I always love revisiting it during the holiday season! โ๏ธ

I personally think the paranormal one is the weakest out of the anthology stories, but I really enjoy all the others! The acting isnโt perfect ๐ but hey thatโs part of the fun, in my opinion! I think this version of Krampus looks cool, I enjoy the spooks as well as the campy humour, and William Shatner is in this! I only watched it for the first time last year, but it immediately made it on my annual watchlist! So fun and worth a watch!
I thought Eddie Murphy couldโve been way funnier, I know he has it in him, and some of the humour was a bit lame for lack of a better word โ but it was still a fun Christmas movie! Definitely donโt expect much more than a silly festive time, but itโs perfect to put on while decorating the tree or baking cookies! ๐๐ช

However, now as an adult I wanted to revisit the franchise with the original and see why this movie is so beloved. I completely understand now, and I loved this movie so much more than the remake I saw yearsโฆ
