I was on the edge of my seat. There are so many great things about Pieces of a Woman, it definitely deserves the hype and the rating its getting. The opening scene is devastating, the portrayal of a woman crushed by the pain and grief is heartbreaking and Vanessa Kirby's performance is outstanding. This is really an extraordinary film.

Well, I got caught up in the hype. I'm not saying this was bad, but it's also not the greatest thing. I do think this is visually gorgeous, but that's it, I think.

Every second of this was excellent.

12 minutes of this stunningly animated short film, without any conversation, broke my heart.
