maybe a person gets better by just letting herself be who who she is.
a bleak, yet beautiful sight, Persona makes one think of their attachment to certain people. you want to be your own person, but at the same time, the yearning for contact envelops you to lose yourself into the other person. now both have this façade that isn't easy to shake off, no matter how hard one tries. you become one, but at what cost?
im obssessed with the outfits liv ullmann and bibi andersson wears because not only are they beyond adorable, yet simple, it shows how the two start to merge. their clothes become a variation of each other, both wear black, but liv uses a turtleneck and bibi a cardigan. it's a beautiful little detail.
