Anchor Rancor’s review published on Letterboxd:
I want to rate this on the last 40 minutes so bad, because it's genuinely great. The problem is that after 15 minutes of being intrigued, the movie got really frustrating to watch. I like slow burns, but through the whole 45 minute stretch in the middle I didn't care about the characters and it didn't feel like it was building. Also, "Something's wrong here" got pretty old quick.
That said, on a technical level it's really well done. I heard it had a small budget, and it looks great for it if that's true, especially the lighting. All the actors are good, and great once the third act really gets going. The ending wasn't surprising, but it was done so well. 4 1/2 star final 40 minutes, no question.
