Andrew Frye’s review published on Letterboxd:
Not to compare but whereas Hereditary was a maddening descent into hell, this gorgeous exhale of a film is an ascent into enlightenment. The profound violence is a means to an end, the necessary purging of toxic relationships, death, and victimhood. One can only dream that real life transcendence looks as beautiful as it does in this portraiture. A fairy tale brimming with hope in abundance. Side note: we all need a friend like Pelle.
