Official Secrets 2019
Pleasantly surprised at this! A little bit unwieldy at times, what with all the moving pieces and awkard expostionary dialogue, but quite engaging. It's overall just an insane story that that carries any of the other weaknesses. They should make a Blowback movie.

When she puts the IRS woman's hot-dog hands in her mouth? I felt that.
A film so annoying you almost wish it wasn't right. A whitewashed neoliberal shell of a movie that misses the entire point of systemic change. Individual boycotts aren't going to fix something as structural as an entire industry that feeds the majority of the population. How does this guy look at the EU policy decisions, the billions of dollars of subsidies, the corrupt NGO framework, and settle on... making an advertisement for veggie shrimp substitutes?
The real crime is the editing at the Grind.
