I don’t know why or how, but I had never seen this before now.
Better in almost every conceivable way than the fourth – better writing, more likeable characters, and nicer looking cinematography. It still feels tired, but that will happen when a franchise essentially remakes the same movie five times. I guess these are designed to be watched three years apart, not one week apart like I have been doing.
So, this gets three stars, same as parts 2 and 3, but with a half star bump for the twist ending that made me very happy.
