“Mommy, what’s happened to make you so sad?”

a heartbreaking but empowering depiction of Diana that honestly felt like a horror at times - seeing someone struggle with not only trying to reconnect and maintain who they are, but also in the process being barred from doing so. this is honestly true cinema to me - you feel her pain, her anxiety, her stress of just being there, in that house, surrounded by things that aren’t what make her whole. but then you see her sensitivity for the world around her and the selflessness she has for her children and protecting them from her demons and the royal demons as best she can.

I’ve had to really sit with this one for a while - I saw it a few days ago and I’ve been in a haze since — just digesting this actual piece of art…

MY SOCKS WERE NOT JUST KNOCKED OFF THEY WERE STRIPPED FROM MY FEET.

Kristen Stewart girl you’ve raised the bar, you’ve shown that you are a MF star! you understand every assignment! now. get in that MF car and do your fuckin’ thing!
