Joins the pantheon of great movies you can just have play in the background of your home regardless of what you’re doing. When you feel like it, tune in. Most likely, you’ll just watch these people be these people.
Watched during the COVID outbreak. How this movie has a 3.3 here baffles me. What’s wrong with us?? This is a 4.1 - a non-stop, “who’s-who-of-Hollywood” pulse-pounder that worked even before every scene became highly relevant to our pandemic. Its filmmaking feels like a virus; it moves fast and exponentially — without empathy or hand-holding. Characters appear and disappear like tweets - here one moment, dead the next. Wash your hands.
Real strong. I have my gripes (length, climax) but they’re small. Shot composition, Moss’ performance, sound design, and seamless thematic integration are standout elements. Also that music track in the opening scene was incredible, wish they used more of that.
PS Was hoping the word “universal” on the opening animation was invisible and we were following a rotating globe. Oh well.... go see this movie!
