Avengers Endgame couldn’t have been better, it was everything I wanted it to be and more. It was an emotional ride that never stopped with payoffs spanning over 21 films. The acting was the best in the entire franchise and the music was incredible. This film is one for the history books with scenes of Captain America saying Avengers Assemble! (which instantly gave me chills). Captain America wielding Thors hammer and beating the shit out of Thanos with it was just pure awesomeness. Iron Man taking one last stand against Thanos who has been messing with his mind every since the New York battle and declaring for the last time, I AM IRON MAN! Definitely one of the best scenes in the film. The big final battle that will live on forever is undoubtedly the fight scene between every superhero from the last 22 films coming together vs Thanos and his army. This fight scene outdoes any other fight scene ever. But with awesome scenes comes heartbreak in between. I’d be lying if I sayed I didn’t tear up when Iron Man snapped his fingers and ultimately sacrificed his life to save the universe and defeat Thanos once and for all. This scene will be remembered by us as the final farewell to our favorite hero and essentially the person who started it all. Tony Stark’s funeral was even harder to witness as his arc reacter from the first even film in this beautiful universe, which was declared as proof that he has a heart, moved along the lake near his home. Captain America had a emotional farewell too as he went into the quantum realm one final time to put all the stones in their rightful places. But he didn’t just do that, he stayed with Peggy Carter and finally got that danced he owed her which was the biggest payoff of the film and an extremely emotional one making me tear up almost as much as Iron Man’s sacrifice. What a finally to the Infinity Saga this was. Robert Downey Jr.’s contribution to this universe and franchise can not be measured and I will be eternally grateful to him for giving us such an amazing experience in these films for the past 11 years. Robert Downey Jr. is Iron Man and Iron Man is Robert Downey Jr., his interpretation of the character will be missed and never forgotten. Thank You RDJ, Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, Scarlet Johansson, and Jeremy Renner - “I love you 3000”.
