Aattam 2023
"Why did she tell him after six days?"
"I have told you before as well this is not the way you should dress."
"Oh, you were drunk!"
"Oh, you have were having an affair with him (the guy who was replaced by the accused as the main lead of the play), then you both have conspired to falsely accuse him..."

Murder Mubarak 2024
You've got a wrong footing as a comedy-whodunnit when both of those aspects - humour and mystery are lackluster. Now I am really starting to think if Sujoy is just this only - average - and Kahaani was maybe a fluke...?
The twist or the reveal doesn't really work because I had almost lost interest by that point. But my god Jaideep Ahlawat, what a madman you are!! What an actor, what a performance...

Chup 2022
Public Screening (PVR, Phoenix Marketcity, Pune)
In our cinema class, we were taught that a film is deemed good if it works on both X-axis (genre film) and Y-axis (the layers, theme, plot, messaging, commentary etc.) by quoting the example of the then released film, Oscar winner Parasite.
Among all the things which we talked about and learned, this stayed with me. I started watching all films from this perspective (even the comedies) and Chup falls in that category.
