I can definitely understand why this won't be everyone's cup of tea but I really enjoyed it.

Taika Waititi, Sam Rockwell and Stephen Merchant were the absolute highlights. Merchant makes for a very good Gestapo officer.

Initially, the film was sitting at around 3.5 for a lot of its runtime. Some of the humour didn't work with me and I wasn't a massive fan of Scarlett Johansson's character. However I must admit, the poignancy of the latter half was really effective, as well as the ending, which bumped it up to 4 stars.
