I watched this for the first time in my dorm room during my first week of university on the other side of the country to where i grew up. throughout, i empathised with Lady Bird, laughed with her, cried with her, and realised - I was her. 
Greta Gerwig does the most incredible job of telling a story that anyone who has "grown up" can relate to, and does it in the most honest, yet beautiful way possible. Whenever I watch it, it feels as though I am watching for the first time, almost as though Greta has made this film just for me.
