A perfect film, absolutely perfect. Perfect in the exact way you remember something you once loved after enough time has passed. Then, you have two choices: 1) you could regret your loss, or 2) you could remember your love. The tragedy of viewing a beautiful painting (or film) is that it must come to an end, one way or another. Or maybe that's just part of what makes it so beautiful.
This should have won the Palme d'Or over Parasite, and it's not even a little bit close. Just exquisite.
(Apparently Celine Sciamma used to date the actress who plays Heloise, so...that adds another layer to the artist/muse relationship at the heart of the film!)
