Arawn Griffin’s review published on Letterboxd:
hit the big screen at AMC to see this for its anniversary and it still slays! I can only imagine what it must’ve been like to be at the premiere or an early screening of this and just losing your mind over it. The writing drives everything and this script is among the best of the 90s. Craven’s sure hand behind it keeps everything moving forward and the editing is really pretty much flawless. The pacing is relentless, almost everything about it still feels “hip, modern, and scary” as the memorable pull quote said. even with a 2021 crowd, the laughs worked, the scares held up, and applause was earned. what a reminder of life before smart phones lololol.
