Argie Ebofin’s review published on Letterboxd:
THE FLORIDA PROJECT avoids a conventional, conflict-driven narrative, working more as an experiential piece like a BOYHOOD or a MOONLIGHT, pulling you into these 6 year olds lives as a fly on the wall viewer.
Typically, this isn't my kinda thing. I prefer my dramas with...y'know, drama. But as a delightful ode to our childhood, where everything is new, fun and exciting, it works.
And Brooklynn Prince is a treasure. Her winners speech at an award ceremony had me in tears.
