It’s funny how how compelling it is despite how close it is to being terrible. QT narrowly gets away with being the most self-indulgent mfer. All credit to him for making his hyper-masculine wet dream debut so much fun to watch.
I can feel our cultural ethos and identity slipping away from Tarantino’s fantasies more and more, but the craft is there. Legions ahead of countless other filmmakers from the get-go. Cannot watch much of his work without being utterly consumed and enthralled.
