    ★★½

Unfortunately, this did not live up to the hype for me at all. It’s also unfortunate that I knew what the twist/kicker was before watching (I don’t remember how/who spoiled it for me – probably some YouTube video with no spoiler warning), which is probably something that impacted my watch experience. Really, really great movie. A couple of negatives first: slightly too long, and some scenes were too quickly paced, so I couldn’t follow all of the details. Besides that, it really was great. Michael Fassbender was fantastic as Steve Jobs, and I want to see more movies with him. I want to see Seth Rogen in more serious roles – he was perfect as Steve Wozniak. Loved Jeff Daniels’ performance. Aaron Sorkin really is a master. Lastly, I really loved the cinematography. It’s super cool how they filmed the sections in 16mm, 35mm, and then digital. Everything looked so natural yet beautiful at the same time.

I can’t begin to express how much fun I had watching this!!!

I can’t write much because I’m going to watch Vol. 2 now... it’s 1 AM, but that ending though.

This was incredible. My attention was captured within the first five minutes and I never got sleepy the entire ~200 minute runtime (unlike most of Tarantino’s other films where I would find myself drifting off during a dialogue heavy scene). This movie, or dare…
