    This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.

    overrated. not terrible but a clear attempt to just turn spider-man into the next iron man, which just isn't interesting. the action scenes are bland as hell, and some of the comedy got less funny this time around. still, the performances deserve acclaim, especially gyllenhaal's mysterio, whom he plays as essentially louis bloom in a supervillain costume/mocap suit, and it's great.

    A fantastic film, and a gamechanger and all that, yeah yeah. But that Jimmie scene alone knocks it down for me; even if you forget the whole N-word controversy with Tarantino, it's just extremely unfunny. Sorry.
