Is my favorite film of all time losing it's hold on me?
If it is, I have no idea how to deal with that. I got home from my screening of Moonrise Kingdom (I saw it in a theater for the first time in 5 years) and just broke down into full ugly tears. I can't accept that my tastes may be changing, I can't accept that I'm changing, I just want to be a kid.

watched the whole thing on tnt at work during a slow day—i definitely missed out on some tips bc of it but i can’t help that this is a pretty engaging and kinetic picture!! idk what gerard butler’s character’s name was but i called him “the tank”
every so often you watch a movie where every second and frame is perfect and you just kinda sit there in awe something so fully formed and deliberate in its stylings, structure, and ideology exists. very very few are as good as this though, i want to print out all of it so it can line my bedroom walls
