Austin Roller’s review published on Letterboxd:
The laughs in this are so undeniably great and there are plenty of them. But jokes aside Taika has such an amazing way of weaving in really important shit and strong lines into this screenplay. He also directs a near perfect ending. Something about David Bowie in German really takes it to the next level.
My favorite scene is when Elsa has Jojo in a chokehold. Thomasin McKenzie delivers this impeccably:
"Break free, great Aryan.
There are no weak Jews.
I am descended from those who wrestle angels and kill giants. We were chosen by God.
You were chosen by a fat man with greasy hair and half a moustache."
