it starts off with the couple, being so in love, can't take their eyes off of each other, lingering touches, the tenderness that makes you smile from ear to ear and, in my case, wonder when will i have that kind of love.
and the horror sets in. that dread, anger and desperation. you know how it ends, but the hope is still there: for things to get better. it ends with you feeling drained.
barry jenkins made such beautiful films that left me with puffy eyes. thank you, sir.
