Artyficial’s review published on Letterboxd:
At any given point in life we play a number of different roles. We're never only one thing, mentally, pshysically or socially, but are always undergoing change, no matter how much we'd like for things to stay exactly the same. Some parts we like and actively strive to improve on, while others are chosen for or even forced upon us, against our will. We're formed by an environment that we in turn influence by being who we are. And with time these roles change and are perceived in a different way. As individual human beings we tend to regard ourselves centers of the universe, divine creatures while we're just these soul driven life forms or Holy Motors if you will, travelling between the roles and scenes our lives are made up of, until the day we die.
Maybe this film is saying something like that.
