Ok this was sooo good and one of my favorites now! I didn’t see the twists coming or the ending and everybody was perfect in their roles, especially Leonardo DiCaprio, Mark Ruffalo, and Ben Kingsley. Maybe my rating will go down after future viewings since the twists and thrills won’t be as fresh and it relies on those a lot imo but I loved it after this first watch. What Scorsese film should I watch and review next?

Surely getting taken to a porn theater for a first date is a red flag, right? 🚩 Seriously tho this movie is pretty amazing. I have bad FOMO and movies about loneliness like this don’t help with that lol πŸ˜‚

How can one man be so hot and so scary at the same time lol. This was so good even though it’s realistic portrayal of domestic abuse makes it hard to watch at times. I’m loving the combo of Joe Pesci and Robert De Niro so far!

I had to rewind a few times because the plot would get too convoluted with all the double crossing but this definitely lived up to my expectations! Raging Bull is next!

I had only ever seen one Scorsese film so decided to watch 7 of his films over the last week in preparation for this. I’ll review those over the next few days but he has become one of my favorites now and this was so beautiful yet devastating. Everybody has already sung its praises but the acting is amazing, the story is extremely sad yet interesting, and it’s just crazy to see how evil some people can be in the name of money. I’ll definitely need to rewatch this again in theaters

This made me want to move to Italy (with Robert McCall's protection of course). I haven't seen the first two but he equalized hard as hell here
