Remembering Mitzi: Films That Have Helped With My Grief

Mitzi was a beloved animal companion of mine from 2010 - 2021. She sadly passed away from terminal cancer. She was the sweetest little dog and such a good, loving friend to me over our time together. I miss her dearly.

These films have been catalysts for my grief and offered what movies do best: provide the much-needed understanding that you may not get otherwise for personal, internal experiences. I'd encourage you to seek these benefits of film and cinema if you are also grieving.

Grief is the last act of love.

Rest in Peace, my little angel. I hope you are free of suffering, and I miss you.

"Come back.

Even as a shadow,

even as a dream."

― Euripides
