This movie answers the question… what if a man understood cinema more than people?

Let me start with this… Christopher Nolan is one of most talented, individual and genuine directors of our time. His technical skill and creativity for cinema is unmatched, and many of his films (including this one) are technical masterpieces.

One my biggest critiques of Nolan (speaking as a genuine fan) is his coldness and seeming lack of care in his characters. I’ve always felt Nolan…

    The Skeleton of Something Great

With this film, Ryan Coogler was given a momentous, impossible task. Honor Chadwick, Complete Shuri’s arch to becoming black panther, introduce Namor, introduce Riri Williams, and complete an enormous amount of world building. A film like that is big, epic and needs time for things to breathe. Unfortunately this movie doesn’t have that time. I would bet a lot of money this was a 3 and a half hour film that had to be cut…

So weird to watch a movie set during the pandemic! PTSD MAN!

Thought it was really interesting, well edited, liked the cast a lot! They kind of gloss over the fact that in reality the big guy won and the little guy lost; with the exception of a few people.

Thought America was great in this and sad her arch is just cut off by a blurb at the end!

Nomadland is a beautiful, heartfelt, and kind film that tackles issues pertaining to poverty, life purpose, and loss. Chloe Zhao has created a masterpiece with beautiful shots of the badlands, wonderful performances, and a story worth remembering. All of this, and it has Frances McDormand who is simply a delight.

This movie was so warm and sweet; exactly what I needed. It doesn’t avoid conflict or loss, but it does avoid unnecessary cruelty and “Hollywood” drama.…

It’s What’s On the Inside that Counts

This is true in both people, and in film! A movie can look gorgeous, great costumes, well cast, well directed and have an incredible score and still be shit because of the script. That is definitely the case with Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice!

People talk about this movie all the time, and for good reason cause there’s a lot to... hate! This movie is such a fucking mess. From the character…
