  This movie expects audiences to just leap toward certain conclusions.

  The Emperor’s back? Alright. The force can do that? Okay. This character is who now? Fine. 

  A terribly paced first act, with the central characters jumping from planet to planet meeting people for a moment and leaving, causing you to wonder whether you’ll see them again ... which you do, again, only for a moment.

  I understand the pandemic probably made this difficult to effectively put together, but this feels like a complete low effort attempt to keep the hype train going.

  There weren’t any real questions being asked, and Joel McHale was an odd choice to host it, often times talking to the real life people of the series as if they’re the memes everyone shares on Facebook.…
