We're All Going to the World's Fair

Wow did I love this film! I genuinely feel like it was made for me.

It really captured the loneliness of youth in post internet culture and walks a tightrope imaginary line between the supernatural and collaborative dissociation.

Everything from the set, cinematography, distanced shooting angles and score really paint a picture of the wet cement that is the adolescent brain and the feeling of not having found your footing in the world yet.

The perverse tenderness of the online friendship between Casey and JLB was really perfect. That outstretched hand on the computer screen and bowed head really undid me.

What a performance from Anna Cobb... riveting doesn't begin to cover it! And that Alex G score was such a treat.

Really look forward to viewing this again.
