(also i just realized i haven’t seen this since i saw it in cinemas which actually sucks but the discourse around it really made me shy away but after todays trailer and this rewatch i really couldn’t care less about what negative people think. this is star wars, it’s ever changing and it’s forever beautiful and moving and cheesy. the fact that rian johnson had the balls to change up the formula and teach us all a lesson goes to show just how powerful this series truly is. i miss you carrie, i miss you han and i miss you luke, godspeed rebels.)
