very important 11th? 12th? 13th? watch . i’ve been convincing my girlfriend to watch this for over a year now and it finally happened. definitely probably like the most important film released this century or something. i like.

mesmerizing work made for those of us who bit through half of our childhood toys and left chunks of them all over the place.  digitally frightening and real, mimicking the paranoia of the current age but also taking it a (terrifying) step further. kind of awesome even in its little boring bits, enough to keep my instagram reels brain thinking about what the fuck being terminally online for the past 8 years has really done to me.

fully expected to find the tiniest things to hate on this second watch because i have transformed into The Ultimate Hater… but the complete opposite has happened. all my little gripes almost disappeared into thin air . simply Just Awesome, cool cool shit about gaining your absolution through cleansing yourself (and the city? you’re so desperate to protect) . yes please. it’s okay to eat fish cause they don’t have any feelings

all you have to do to make these movies watchable is add narration like a comic book and music that makes batman look like a scary demon cowboy. just Awesome all around with some missing bits and pieces here and there but it’s fine because Nirvana. i absolutely adore the fact that i don’t think r patz smiled once here and that’s how it should be in a place as rainy (beautiful) as this version of gotham. a movie both virgins and regular sex havers can enjoy.
