When Howie💘 is crying that nothing is going right in his life… who’s gonna tell him?

Regardless of all the chaos, the many plot lines here are so intentionally woven and well thought-out. The Safdie brothers have “it.” Recently, my friend told me they never really thought of this movie as funny. For starters, if Adam Sandler is in the movie, it is funny. Somehow it has the ability to make me laugh out loud, as well as feel completely on…

Update my address because I’ve permanently moved to the Parker Posey/Liev Schreiber universe.

Very much loved! Daisy caught a vibe and Posey carried it. Smithereens, but make it 90s. Being called Party Girl, this movie does not take itself too seriously. The music & the costumes feed my soul.

All party girls could be librarians, but not all librarians could be party girls!!!

Give The People what they want & release this movie widely. Hilarious, but I need to see again bc I know there are more jokes in there. Losing it over the “before all the ’unpleasantness’” bit & the “checklist to notice narcissistic abuse.” She will pull out the list again, honey!! (No seriously, don’t worry, we can review it a million times, you got this.) I loved the cartoonish, multi-media style. Though so much fun, this story is incredibly personal and honest and the director puts herself out there. It’s obvious she has much love for comic books, community, and anti-comedy.

    ACAB for Cutie.

It’s been over a week since feeling every feeling while watching this film & I’m still thinking about it regularly. Nan Goldin is truly an angel, but this film is hardly about her. It is, but it isn’t. It’s important that I, and all its viewers, bear witness & listen to the range of powerful human experiences shared here. Would recommend to all.
