are you real?
i wasn’t prepared. better than i ever could have imagined. fucking horrific and heartbreaking and infuriating. an absolute masterclass in storytelling and pacing, had my full attention for 3.5 hours. scorsese is really out here making his magnum opus at 80 years old.
there is so much more i want to say but i don’t even know where to begin!! -

john carpenter the man that you are!!! you have never failed me!! this movie is an absolute masterpiece. i feel so lucky to have watched it for the first time in theaters. the special effects are some of the best i’ve seen in any movie ever. i can’t remember the last time i watched a horror movie that left me feeling so sad walking out of it. it’s somehow horrifying and heartbreaking and i just cannot get over how much i loved it.

a hellish nightmare that reminded me too much of the night terrors i had as a kid. saw it in a packed theater and i can’t imagine seeing it anywhere else. i know it wouldn’t have had the same effect if i had watched it at home. there were multiple moments i was squinting my eyes begging for it to be over. absolutely terrifying !

i can’t even begin to describe how much i loved this. anyone who says this is tarantino’s worst film is just WRONG. it’s so damn entertaining and all the female characters are written so well. they feel like real women which makes the movie work and why it’s so enjoyable to watch. the last 20 minutes had me grinning from ear to ear. an absolute banger that is now in my QT top 5
