after nearly two whole weeks of not watching movies because of The Big Sad, i decided to restart with a rewatch of an old favourite and god did it deliver. i love alienated girls in horror!!!!! and to every one of them who ever said “i think there’s something wrong with me” or any of the likes: i see u, i love u, there is nothing wrong with u queen

not to sound like every film hoe out there but this literally just changed my life. i love you amélie, i hope you’re well <3

“brindiamo a st’estate d’er cazzo!”

alla fine del film ho tirato un sospiro che non sapevo neanche stessi trattenendo. 
i d’innocenzo non hanno paura di guardare in faccia tutto il marcio della società; le cattiverie, le brutte situazioni, i discorsi volgari. l’italia che ne viene fuori è putrida nel mezzo, un paese dove non si salva nessuno. la bellezza della fotografia non fa altro che accentuare la bassezza morale dei personaggi creando un contrasto che trascina fuori dal tempo e che lascia senza fiato. 
una gemma del cinema italiano, non c’è dubbio
