  I’ve had my eye in watching this for a long time, it’s executive produced by George Harrison and people have gassed it up when I’ve said I hadn’t seen it.

  I fear it is a victim of hype. The acting is great and the opening King Curtis track really is something.

  This film made triple its 135 million dollar budget. That’s insane as it’s properly shite, it feels like a 14 year old wrote it, mad that James Bond is renown and valued as film property watching these brosnan ones.

  Wow. 

  Seen the poster over the years and a few clips, remember the business coming out when I was young and people comparing the two. I can’t remember the business very well. But I’m pretty sure it won’t have a patch on this. Open to being wrong but this was class. 

  Simple and effective story told brilliantly between the 2 leads. Ben Kingsley is magnificent. Really awesome. The wardrobe is great and the cinematography is spectacular, a real grainy almost…
