The screechy pop music soundtrack makes it almost hypnotising. Actually very interestingly told. Divine is a STAR.

OH YEAH! I saw this once as a teenager just when it was released and hadn't thought much of it since. But this is close to a masterpiece! So insansely good looking, every establishing shot like a painting. The atmosphere is eerie and other-wordly, genuinely epic. And the action scenes! So much going on all the time, and they just keep coming and coming. Climax after climax.
