Skate Kitchen is a 2018 American film written and directed by Crystal Moselle. It is Moselle's debut feature film, though she had previously directed documentaries and shorts. The film is inspired and takes its name from the real life all female skate collective Skate Kitchen and also stars members of their crew. Rachelle Vinberg stars as Camille, an 18-year-old girl from New Jersey who discovers an all girl skateboard collective based in New York City from Instagram and joins them. The film premiered at the 2018 Sundance Film Festival. It was picked up for distribution by Magnolia Pictures and given a theatrical release on August 10, 2018.
