    This is the first time I have seen Terrence Malick's Days of Heaven. I must start by saying, good lord is this a beautiful film to look at. The cinematography done by Néstor Almendros and Haskell Wexler is among the best I have ever seen.     I have a growing appreciation for the aesthetic Wes Anderson employs in his films. It's always the little things with this guy, which makes me wonder if he doesn't have a rather severe case of obsessive compulsive disorder. But nonetheless, it makes his movies very beautiful. Of the films of his I have seen, this is the most I enjoyable first viewing. Though I find it important to note that Anderson's films are always better with repeated viewings.
