It's funny how Keller became the very monster that he was trying to hunt down, what Holly did to his daughter is exactly what he was doing to Alex, thus, Keller ending up in the hole under the car is the price he has to pay, which is why I'd like to believe that detective Loki ignored his whistle in the end.
I felt like watching something short so I picked out this film from my watchlist however since this film is so emotionally draining it literally felt like the longest movie ever and I'm not gonna lie, the visuals saved this film from becoming really boring.
Now, where do I stand with the infamous 20-hour long pie scene?
Was it necessary? maybe not, but in all, it adds a sense of realness to the situation and it helps Rooney Mara stay truthful to the emotional suffering of grief, it might be boring but it was a beautiful scene to watch.
