I haven’t seen the original, but I did read the book a few years ago so I knew what to expect. This is an incredibly well-made movie on every level. I would’ve loved to be able to see this in a theater because the cinematography and sound are unreal. There’s not a lot else I could say that would do it justice, but I highly recommend watching it on the biggest screen available. It’s my favorite movie of 2022 so far. Fuck war.
