100 Movies Bucket List Challenge Review:
Haunting, suspenseful, and not for the faint of heart, Polanski’s adaptation of the Ira Levin novel is an absolutely pulse pounding thriller. You really get the feeling of paranoia and discomfort that the main character (played by Mia Farrow) is going through.
If you’re extremely religious, and can’t handle the uncomfortable nature of the film (as this is a reversal of the Virgin Mary story) this probably won’t be for you. However, for those who don’t mind a good edge-of-your-seat suspense tale, I suggest you give it a watch. Just keep a light on.
Also, is it just me or does it seem rather fitting that a man like Roman Polanski decided to make a movie about the spawn of Satan?
