I thought the first two were pretty bad, but when you compare them to Friday the 3th Part 3, they might as well be Citizen fucking Kane. This movie is godawful boring, despite being the first appearance of Jason's now-iconic hockey mask. It takes so long to get going that more than half of the movie is over before Jason even does anything. Unfortunately, that early non-killy time isn't used to develop the characters any, either, as they're all pretty hollow, unlikable, and useless. Piece of crap.
