Watched this probably 15(!) years ago with Emma and mostly remembered that it was long and boring. I’ll give my 15 year old self a little bit of a break as it is certainly long but even as a “minor” Spielberg it is mammoth filmmaking with a typically open heart. WARNING:
THIS REVIEW OF HER IS AND THEREFORE WILL SOUND LIKE PROTOTYPICAL HIPSTER BULLSHIT AND ADDS ABSOLUTELY NOTHING TO ANY CONVERSATION ABOUT IT. WILL NOT BLAME YOU IF YOU DON’T READ IT.

Her was probably my most devastating trip to the movies I can remember. As a preface I’ll just tell you that today started as one of the best…

Still a fucking masterpiece in every respect. Hadn't seen it in years so I was a little (only a little) worried that some aspects wouldn't hold up now that I've been in "film school" for about four years now.

In fact it was incredibly heartening to revisit a film like Jaws, one I remember loving from a very early age, and find just how masterful it is on so many levels. I always remember loving the characters, the story and…
