This is one of my all time favorite movies.
I've always loved it, and I've watched it I think most of the last five or so Octobers.
This year I thought it would be nice to start the month with it, to really get going with a bang.
But let me tell you.

This year was special.

Today, my partner and I took a hike in the woods. We came home, and we put up all of our Halloween decorations.
And when we sat down, contented with ourselves... They pulled out a ring.

Macklin proposed to me, and of course I cried and lost my mind and said yes, and all of that.
And then we got pizza, and we watched the movie Scream.

Now, Scream will always be the first movie we watched together as fiancées.
Can life get any better?
