A really effective and brutally honest portrayal of the famous love story between Elvis and Priscilla. Sofia Coppola truly removes the rose coloured glasses here and explores a complicated relationship that seemed perfect on the exterior, but really wasn’t.

I find it so fascinating how this film essentially tells the same story as Baz Luhrman’s Elvis, yet with the perspective completely flipped, it feels like an entirely different narrative. It has a bleak, almost subdued feel to it, really ripping…

    The Holdovers

Absolutely fantastic! The Holdovers is a very simple film and story, but there’s just something about it that gets you from the very beginning. From the ‘70s technical aesthetic to the snowy scenery, there’s something very comforting about it all, despite these characters being much more complex and having deeper issues in their lives.

Not just a movie, but an EXPERIENCE. Moonage Daydream totally redefines what a music documentary can be. We are taken directly into the odyssey that is Bowie’s mind in a unique and cinematic sensory experience. I’m not sure if it would have the exact same impact at home, but this was insane in IMAX. Completely blown away.

    Knives Out

Knives Out definitely lives up to the hype! Not only is it super fun, entertaining, and has an out of this world cast, but it’s a fresh take on the murder mystery genre too.

Rian Johnson has done something pretty special here. He’s taken the murder mystery genre, which has been done to death and can sometimes get a little predictable, and infused it with new DNA. I haven’t seen a film of the genre like this one. Johnson cleverly…
