um hello?? the only reason this didn't get full 5 stars is that i felt that susie's arc was way too rushed and not enough developed. but holy shit. it's so damn good. the colour palette, the sound, the editing, the camera-work (so 70s!!); everything feels so refreshing and i loved it.
the dancing scenes were brilliant, both the performance of volk and the dance-torture scene; they truly felt like ritualistic spells. and That impactful dance with mirrors and gore? i'll never forget that shit.
tilda swinton, you're sublime and i love u.
