Ben’s review published on Letterboxd:
I actually enjoyed this. I loved how Allen presented Paris, made it look elegant and beautiful. I also really liked the soundtrack, helping me to be immersed into the film. The story was good, I followed along and cared throughout.
The problem was that for me, at times, it felt a bit messy. This may be because I don’t know loads of the history to it so I may have missed some jokes. But I felt this film will be forgettable, If I look back I can’t remember an outstanding scene or any memorable quotes. It is good though.
