Dino’s review published on Letterboxd:
When a film looks like it could have been made fifty years ago, there's a good chance it's going to be a masterpiece. When a film is written like it could have been made fifty years ago, it's going to be a complete fucking disaster. Green Book easily falls into the latter category, and between the film's pandering/insensitive screenplay/direction and Viggo Mortensen's ham-fisted and tone deaf performance, there is absolutely nothing redeeming here, save for Mahershala Ali. That said, no one deserved an Academy Award nomination for this piece of shit.
I've been avoiding watching this and Bohemian Rhapsody for months. I can't believe that Green Book is easily the worse of the two. At least I didn't give this movie my money either.
